Crystal M. Manning, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, is the founder of Seasonal Wellness Counseling, a Mental Health Therapy practice for adults (18+).
With 9+ years of experience and 3000+ clinical hours, in community-based mental health services servicing homes and school settings with children and their families, Crystal also worked as a school-based therapist as an advocate and provided support for School-aged children dealing with behavior, academic, and emotional regulation issues. Crystal is dedicated to helping individuals thrive. She assists clients in processing emotions, gaining a sense of self, developing coping skills, and cultivating healthier emotional management strategies.
Crystal completed her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work at Southeastern Louisiana University and her Master of Social Work from Tulane School of Social Work.
IIn her leisure time, Crystal enjoys napping with her two cats, Leo and Lucy, reading, and long outdoor walks.

My Approach
My Approach to Therapy
Therapy with me is a space where you get to come home to yourself — gently, honestly, and with curiosity. I believe the answers you’re searching for already live within you. Through an Internal Family Systems (IFS)–informed lens, I help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been silenced, pushed aside, or misunderstood.
Together, we explore the “why” behind your experiences — whether those roots are intergenerational, epigenetic, environmental, or situational. There is always a story beneath the surface, and therapy becomes the place where that story can finally be heard.
Many of the challenges you face today may be connected to early experiences, old wounds, or protective patterns that once kept you safe. When those early triggers get activated, intense emotions can rise quickly. Instead of fighting those emotions, we learn to understand them. We explore what they’re trying to protect, what they’re afraid of, and what they need.
As you grow, we work on building healthier ways to regulate and cope. Until new tools feel natural, we honor the strategies that have helped you survive so far. There is no shame in the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself — only opportunities to expand your capacity and create new pathways forward.
I am not here to “fix” you. You are not broken.
My role is to be a reflector — a mirror that helps you see yourself more clearly. I support you in deepening your self‑understanding, noticing your patterns, and recognizing your emotional and behavioral responses, especially those shaped by trauma or past experiences.
Together, we create a space where you can explore who you are, why you respond the way you do, and how you can move toward a more grounded, connected, and empowered version of yourself.
My Mission
My mission is to support you throughout your journey by offering strategies and techniques based on evidence and a strength-focused approach. Together, we will collaboratively develop goals and, with your consent, make use of additional resources such as primary care and holistic care when needed. I offer you a secure and completely confidential space with three key limitations: if someone is causing you harm, if you have a plan to harm yourself, or if you have a plan to harm someone else.
