Insurance Coverage & Billing
Your mental and emotional health journey is important to us, and we want you to feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns about payment or insurance coverage. We will work with you to find a solution that fits your needs.
At Seasonal Wellness Counseling, we value transparency and want to ensure that there are no surprises regarding the cost of your sessions. During your initial consultation, we will discuss insurance coverage, fees, and any potential additional costs, such as assessments or evaluations.
IN-NETWORK BILLING
We work closely with our clients to ensure they have access to the services they need. We do this by offering insurance billing for our therapy sessions. This means that we can bill your insurance provider directly for the cost of your sessions, making it more convenient and affordable for you.
OUT OF NETWORK BILLING
If you have out-of-network coverage, we will provide you with a superbill after each session that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We understand that navigating insurance policies can be confusing and overwhelming, so we are here to help answer any questions about the billing process.
Co-Payments & Out-of-Network Payments
We accept various payment methods, including network insurance, cash, check, credit card, Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flex Savings Account (FSA) cards.
Payment is due at end of each session.
No Surpise Act
Also known as "Good Faith Estimate" you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
